Chakra cleansing, balancing & Healing

In Sanskrit, Chakra means wheel. These are the energy centers flowing in circular motion through the spine in our etheric body. In the spine we have seven chakras linked by invisible nerves moving from the tailbone up to the top of the head. Chakras are the centers of energy levels and they correspond to the endocrine glands as understood in the modern science. The system of energy flows through the nadis intersecting at the various chakras which gives expression to the vrittis (behaviors), bhavas, (emotions), and the human psyche serving expression to all the koshas (sheaths)of the body.

The chakras which are the energy centres are wheels of bright colour which spin totally in balance when we are healthy and happy. When we are in bad health or feeling distressed, the chakras spin out of balance and the colours are not so bright. Each centre controls different sense organs and colours and all these centres must flow freely to maintain good health. The lower-middle five chakras correspond to the five elements. Many people have blocked chakras due to which the corresponding organ, muscle and nerve is diseased. Yogasanas and pranayamas unblock them. They get awakened and bloom up to their fullest capacity.
